All-round attack by the FDP Vice: Kubicki insults Erdogan as a "sewer rat"

Wolfgang Kubicki likes to present himself as a man with pithy messages. Even at an election campaign event, he does not hold back and bluntly explains his view of things - which could cause trouble in Turkey and in the coalition.

At an election campaign event for the FDP Lower Saxony in Hildesheim, Wolfgang Kubicki sharply criticized the traffic light policy and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The FDP deputy warned the federal government not to "simply open your arms again" in the event of the next wave of refugees. He expressed an assumption as to who could trigger it: "Erdogan, the sewer rat."

At the same time, Kubicki distanced himself from his party colleagues, who called for rapid and comprehensive arms deliveries to Ukraine. "When will there be a point where Putin sees us as a war party?" he asked the audience. This concern is growing every day, especially among older people. Surprisingly, he then began to praise Chancellor Olaf Scholz: "I'm glad that someone governs who thinks before making decisions."

Kubicki also attacked Federal Economics Minister Robert Habeck from the Greens. He criticized the gas levy as "nonsense". Rather, the state benefits from high energy prices, which is why it has to reduce taxes and duties on them. According to the report, Kubicki also called for the nuclear power plants to continue to operate and for the willingness to produce natural gas in Germany itself.

It was only in August that Kubicki caused a stir when he called for the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to be commissioned. However, he met with sharp opposition, even within his own party.

Health Minister Karl Lauterbach also got rid of his fat. "Everyone except Germany is happy and sees the pandemic at the end instead of thinking about Karl Lauterbach depressed," said Kubicki. State intervention is only allowed if its effect has been clearly proven. To the cheers of his audience, Kubicki then concluded his speech with the announcement: "If things continue like this with the SPD and the Greens, I will personally resign from this coalition."
