Danger speech gave hint: Left-wing politician Renner: "Reich citizens" knew about it

The work of the Bavarian state police is said to have torpedoed the blow against the "Reichsbürger" scene. The left-wing MP Renner criticized a dangerous speech by a member of the alleged terrorist group a few days before the raid. There is a clear "glitch", according to Renner.

The domestic policy spokeswoman for the Left Group, Martina Renner, sharply criticizes the investigators' actions in the course of the "Reich Citizens" raid: "It can be described as a glitch when the Federal Public Prosecutor General conducts a terrorist investigation with extensive covert measures and a state police against you at the same time central suspect carries out a threat speech," Renner told the news portal t-online. "Something like this always carries the risk that evidence will be removed."

According to research by t-online, the former Bundeswehr Colonel Max Eder, one of the main suspects in the investigation, was alerted at least more than a week before the raid by an attempted threat by the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office (LKA). The trigger for the address of the LKA should have been a video that Eder published on social media. For reasons of averting danger, the officials sought contact with Eder. When they did not reach him, they are said to have left a message.

On November 27, Eder is said to have called his neighbor and warned that the police could soon be at the door. At this point, Eder was probably already abroad. He was arrested in Italy.
