BRIDGEWATER - A township woman has been arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and heroin with an estimated street value of $46,000, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said in a news release Monday.

Gladys Gulle (Somerset County Prosecutor's Office)

Gladys Gulle, 29, was taken into custody after a search warrant was executed on her residence and the drugs were discovered.

On Feb. 24 at approximately 2:30 p.m., following an investigation regarding the distribution of narcotics by Gulle, Task Force detectives executed the search warrant with the assistance of the Bound Brook Police Department's K-9 unit, according to the release.

The search resulted in the seizure of approximately five ounces of methamphetamine and roughly 46 grams of heroin, the release stated.

Gulle, who was present during the search, was arrested without incident.

The seized methamphetamine has an estimated street value of $26,000 and the heroin has a street value of $20,000, the release said.

Gulle, who is being held in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing, has been charged with first-degree possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and second-degree possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.
