69% of French people surveyed say they are "concerned" about immigration, even if the subject only ranks sixth among their priorities (24%), far behind purchasing power (56%), health ( 38%) and safety (32%).
Two-thirds (67%) also consider that there are "too many immigrants" in France and only 43% that immigration is "an opportunity for France".
While Les Républicains are launching an offensive on the subject, 73% of respondents say they are in favor of "organizing a referendum" and 66% want to "tighten the conditions for family reunification". Respondents view immigration policy makers with suspicion: the RN is the most trusted party (36%), followed by LR (30%) and the government (28%).
