32 percent of Germans share the criticism of the behavior of the Federal Chancellor, not supporting Ukraine enough and too hesitantly in the delivery of heavy weapons. The supporters of the Greens (40 percent) and the Union parties (41 percent) most often share the criticism of the Chancellor's behavior with regard to the arms deliveries, but the majority also believe that Scholz's behavior is appropriate and not too hesitant.

48 percent of Germans currently fear that the war in Ukraine could escalate into a war between Russia and NATO and lead to a third world war. Roughly as many (50 percent) do not fear this.
