The city of Le Havre and its mayor, Édouard Philippe, filed a complaint for "threat" after receiving a letter containing whitish powder and the inscription "Allah akbar", said the town hall, Wednesday March 29.

The mail, received Tuesday noon, was addressed to Édouard Philippe, indicated France Info, according to whom "records have ruled out the hypothesis of a possible toxicity" of the powder.

The complaint was filed for "death threat or damage to property dangerous for people against a public elected official", revealed the press service of the city council.
