The Short Comeback of Nico Hülkenberg (Emmerich) in the formula 1 is over already. Regular driver Sergio Perez survived his Covid-19 infection and can race at the sixth season in Barcelona on Sunday (15.10 in the F. A. Z.-Liveticker Formel 1, RTL and Sky) again for Racing in a Point to compete. The Team announced this Thursday, hülkenberg's services as a replacement driver is no longer needed it.
"Sergio Perez has tested negative," it said in the Racing-Point Statement, the world governing body (Fia) have confirmed "that he is allowed to return to the paddock." The 30-year-old Mexican had been tested prior to the first of the two races at Silverstone at the beginning of August to be positive and was, ultimately, for both races. Hulkenberg, who had lost the end of last season, his Cockpit at Renault, was surprisingly nominated as a replacement.
For his former Team, the 32 convinced-Year-old with strong performances. The first of the two races missed Hulkenberg due to damage in the transmission. Last Sunday, he managed then, after the sensational third place in qualifying in the race on the seventh rank.
