Bayley, a WWE star, is out for nine months after suffering a training injury

The former SmackDown Women's Champion was set to take on Bianca Belair in an I Quit Match @ Money In The Bank on Jul 18, but the company confirmed that a replacement would be announced tonight on the blue brand's weekly program.

They released a statement on WWE.com stating that Bayley suffered an injury while training for her WWE Money in the Bank against Bianca Belair. She will be out for approximately nine months.

FOX will announce tonight a suitable replacement for the SmackDown Women's Title Match.

Many of her peers have shared messages of support via social media.

Sonya Deville tweeted, "I'm not the only one saying that this news makes me hurt. But that being said, we can still expect one badass to return in nine months."

"We will wait."

Mia Yim said, "[Bayley] was one of the most difficult I've ever known." All my love and speedy recovery to you. We are grateful for your kindness and support.

Raquel Gonzalez, NXT Women Champion, said: "Wishing you a speedy recovery!" Your chingona will soon be back chiquita.

Bayley's injury is a difficult time. WWE will welcome back fans on SmackDown next Wednesday ahead of a September tour in the UK.

She was a villain before the pandemic and had to change to an innocent persona. She is now a strong leader of the company and has been eager to see how her fans react to her character.
