Jens Scheuer's commitment to the English women's first division club Brighton

The former coach of the women's soccer team at FC Bayern Munich, Jens Scheuer, is no longer the coach of the English women's first division soccer team Brighton

Most recently, the Scheuer team, which has only won twice in eleven games, lost 6-2 at home to Aston Villa. Before the game on Wednesday at champions and cup winners Chelsea, where Scheuer's previous assistant coach Amy Merricks will look after the team, Brighton will be occupied

Scheuer was the first German coach to work in the English Women's Super League. The 44-year-old from Offenburg only took over the team in December and joined Brighton

The Seagulls had been looking for a coach since October before Scheuer was signed after Hope Powell resigned after a poor start to the season. When the 44-year-old took office, the team was just one place above the relegation zone with seven points from eight games.
