Comments: Branford dropped here from 120 and won the D-11 2A title, beating Bernhard (6-2) and Rosengrant (9-7 OT) along the way and enters here at No. 3. Markulics lost 5-4 to Tri-Valley frosh Cal Schoffstall in 2A semifinals – amazingly, Notre Dame is 0-9 in 2A semis the last two seasons (yet 9-0 in the next bout, go figure) – and that costs him some spots here. Pierson was third in D-11 3A, with two wins over Herrmann and one over Santiago, and he stays No. 1 easily. Santiago wound up fifth at D-11 3A and Jones, fourth at Region 3, slips in the top five. Potentially still a lot of movement here, one of the more wide-open classes.
