Steelers trade Melvin Ingram from the Steelers to Chiefs in exchange for a 2022 sixth-round pick

After nine seasons with the Chargers, Ingram was 32 and this was his first season with Steelers. Ingram has been a part of 62 percent Pittsburgh's defensive snaps. However, he only had one start and a limited production (nine tackles and one sack). According to Pro Football Focus, he has 18 pressures as pass rusher.

He joins a Chiefs' defense that has allowed 391.5 yards per match this season and dealt with injuries at the defensive line. Chris Jones and Chris Clark have both missed five games, while Jones has suffered ligament damage to his wrist. Meanwhile, defensive back Charvarius has missed four games. As defending champions of the AFC, the defending champions have been struggling offensively in recent weeks, with Monday's narrow win over New York Giants.
