Who Will Win the Premier League 2023/2024 – Betting Odds and Favorites

Even with the 2022-23 Premier League season just coming to an end, it’s time to start looking ahead to the next season. After all, clubs are already starting to think about their plans for the summer transfer market. That means it’s not too soon for fans to start looking at soccer betting websites which are offering futures bets on this market and many more. Not surprisingly, the early favorites to win the Premier League title in 2024 are all massive clubs that are accustomed to competing at the highest levels. Let’s take an early look at the four leading favorites to win the 2024 Premier League title.

Manchester City

As the Premier League champions in five of the last six seasons, including three in a row, Manchester City is the overwhelming favorite to win the title again in 2024. FanDuel lists Man City at -190 with Betway at -164 and Unibet Australia checking in at -154. As we’ll see, no other team is anywhere close to those odds. On the surface, Manchester City shouldn’t have too many pressing needs this summer. However, Pep Guardiola’s team hasn’t won the league by a huge margin in recent years, so Man City will need to refresh the squad and try to get a little young in some places. The midfield may require some reinforcements. The good news for City is that they have plenty of attacking talent in place with Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish, and Phil Foden.

Liverpool

The 2022-23 campaign was an odd one for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool. The Reds got off to a slow start and couldn’t make up enough ground late in the season to qualify for Champions League. But that shouldn’t prevent Liverpool from challenging for a title in 2024, especially since Klopp’s team finished third or better in four straight years prior to this season. Both Betway and Unibet Australia are giving Liverpool +800 odds to win the Premier League next season while FanDuel is at +1000. To overcome those odds, Liverpool will need to be busy this summer. The Reds know they are losing Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Baby Keita, opening some holes on the roster, especially in midfield. Obviously, staying healthy next season should help Liverpool immensely. But with some losses in the midfield and star attacker Mo Salah starting to age, the Reds may need to bring in several new faces this summer.

Arsenal

After coming close to holding off Man City this season, the Gunners will believe that they are serious threats to win the Premier League next year. But oddsmakers are a little more bullish. FanDuel lists Arsenal at +1000 with Unibet Australia and Betway giving them +700 odds. With a young squad, Mikel Arteta doesn’t have to completely overhaul Arsenal’s roster this summer. However, they will need a talent upgrade in order to keep pace with Man City. There is also a void to fill in midfield with the departure of captain Granit Xhaka, giving the Gunners a lot to do during the transfer window.

Manchester United

It looks like Manchester United finally found a manager for the future with Erik Ten Hag leading the Red Devils back to Champions League with a top-4 finish. Given the excitement around Ten Hag and the history of the club, fans will expect United to contend for a title in 2024. Alas, FanDuel lists them at +1200, Betway at +1000, and Australia Unibet at +900 to win next year’s title. There is also talk of around a dozen players leaving the club this season. Obviously, that will allow Ten Hag to bring in a healthy collection of new players. But the challenge of trying to put the right pieces in the right place could make it unrealistic for the Red Devils to be serious title contenders in 2024.
