WhatsApp already allows you to edit sent messages, a functionality announced a few months ago and which, according to the official blog of this messaging application, is already available. "If you make a mistake or simply change your mind, you can now edit the sent messages," they announce.
To do this, you have to press and hold the sent message and choose the 'edit' option from the menu. According to what they say, the user has up to 15 minutes after sending a message to edit it.
Of course: the recipient of the message will know that it has been modified since the text 'edited' will appear next to the message (although they will not be able to see what the previous message was like or the changes made).
The function, which has already begun to be implemented, will be available to all users of the application in the coming weeks, as announced.
