Six wrestlers from Warren Hills, three from Phillipsburg and two from Hackettstown advanced to the NJSIAA Region 3 semifinals with quarterfinal victories on Friday night at West Orange High School.
The Blue Streaks wrestlers moving into the semifinals at 9 a.m. Saturday are seniors Matt Valli (132 pounds), Zach Nauta (138), Brody Oberly (220), Taylin Zafis (285), junior Jarod Ostir (170) and sophomore Nicholas Galka (195).
The Stateliners' semifinal trio is senior Robert Melise (220 pounds) and juniors Cullen Day (106), Brian Meyer (145).
The Tigers advanced juniors Alex Carida (138) and Joe Andes (285) into the semifinals.
