I know what you did the last summer is the title of a series that will arrive at Amazon Prime Video on October 15. It is a new adaptation of the homonymous novel of Louis Duncan, which was taken to the cinema as a successful horror movie in 1997.
This new version part of the same premise. A mysterious killer begins to harass and torment a group of young people a year after they hid the tragic event they lived. The protagonists run over a person and decided to get rid of the corpse, but someone knows what they did and is looking for revenge.
The first trailer of the drama presents several students at a graduation party. The relationships and conflicts of these adolescents are on one side when the video becomes darker, showing how they try to cover up a traffic accident with a deadly result.
"Nobody will know what we did," says one of the protagonists. At the end of the piece one of her companions receives a message with an unknown sender who says: "I'm going for you".
The first four episodes of fiction will be available on the 'Streaming' platform on the day of its premiere. Another four will be added to the Amazon Prime Video Catalog in later weeks, until completing a season of eight chapters.
I know what you did the last summer has a distribution of young actors. The protagonists that appear in the poster are Madison Iseman (Saga Jumanji), Brianne Tju (light as a feather), Ezekiel Goodman (Rat Bastard), Ashley Moore (Popstar) and Sebastian Amoruso (Solve).

The movie I know what you did the last summer premiered in 1997, a year after SCREAM: Watch who calls for fashion the genre known as 'Slasher'. The horror movie had actors such as Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., Ryan Phillippe, Anne Heche and Johnny Galecki.
The feature film was a success and gave rise to two sequels.
