Ludwigsburg (dpa / lsw) - Young people and children are said to have stolen dozens of scooters and e-scooters in the Ludwigsburg area. The twelve suspects are male and between 13 and 16 years old, the Ludwigsburg police said on Thursday. All are known to the police. The officials assume that other parties are involved. In addition, two adults are being investigated who are said to have stolen scooters and e-scooters independently of the young people.
More than 60 vehicles have disappeared in the Ludwigsburg area since July, and the police counted 30 thefts in October alone. Some scooters have also reappeared with an empty tank. According to the investigation, the property damage is in the five-digit range. Young people are said to be responsible for most thefts.
