Nevertheless, according to a survey, significantly more school administrations in Baden-Württemberg are complaining about vacancies than in previous years. According to the information, numerous others complain about a mountain of work or an enormous lack of time. The pressure from the integration of children with disabilities (inclusion) and the integration of refugee children and young people are also daily problems in schools, as a study by the opinion research institute Forsa on behalf of the Association for Education and Training (VBE) shows.

"The school administrations have matured into crisis managers, they take care of everything from the pandemic to the admission of refugee students to the shortage of teachers," said VBE state chairman Gerhard Brand. Under difficult conditions, they tried to somehow keep the shop running. "Our study on job satisfaction shows very clearly that this does not go unnoticed by school principals."

The association wants to present the exact figures and developments on Friday (11 a.m.). The survey also includes the rectors' assessments of violence against teachers.
