Baden-Württemberg: bomb found during excavation work in Mannheim

Mannheim (dpa / lsw) - During excavation work in Mannheim, a phosphorus bomb weighing about 15 kilograms was found. After an initial assessment on Thursday morning, the bomb did not pose any danger, the police said. The explosive ordnance disposal service is transporting the bomb away. A nearby supermarket was initially cleared.
