Baden-Württemberg: cyclist collides with scooter: hit and run

Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) - A cyclist in Karlsruhe was seriously injured in a collision with a scooter. The scooter driver left before the police arrived at the scene of the accident, officials said. Accordingly, the man pushed his machine, which was damaged in the front area, after the incident on Thursday evening in the direction of the municipality of Weingarten. The police are looking for witnesses who observed the accident near the Grötzinger quarry lake. The cause of the accident and the exact course of events were initially unclear.
