Göppingen (dpa / lsw) - The Dutch national handball goalkeeper Bart Ravensbergen is moving to the Bundesliga club Frisch Auf Göppingen for the coming season. The 29-year-old is under contract with the second division club HSG Nordhorn-Lingen and will receive a contract with the Göppingen team until 2025, as the club announced on Monday. Ravensbergen will succeed Daniel Rebmann, who will join league rivals VfL Gummersbach.
"Bart Ravensbergen is an experienced goalkeeper who has also shown his qualities on the international stage in recent years," said sporting director Christian Schöne. "He will suit us well in terms of sport and personality."
