Baden-Württemberg: Iffezheim barrage: motorcyclists die in an accident

Iffezheim (dpa / lsw) - A man fell with a motorcycle and crashed into a ship's anchor set up for decoration on the side of the road, fatally injuring him. The 40-year-old drove up and down the premises of the Iffezheim barrage (Rastatt district) very quickly for pleasure, the police said on Sunday. He lost control of the motorcycle, fell and hit the anchor. The man was not wearing a helmet on Saturday evening and died at the scene of the accident. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing, according to the police.
