Leutkirch (dpa / lsw) - Because they were too loud for him, a man in Leutkirch (Ravensburg district) hit and threatened his neighbor's children. The 39-year-old father of the children, aged 12 and 14, tried to intervene after the 38-year-old attacked on Friday, police said on Saturday. The attacker then slightly injured the father with a knife on the upper left arm.
At first he did not follow the instructions of the arriving police officers. Instead, he moved towards the officers, so that, according to the police, pepper spray had to be used against him. He was then taken into custody without resistance. The man is now facing a charge of grievous bodily harm.
