All previous attempts to communicate with Deutsche Post and the Federal Network Agency have been dismissed with standard answers. "They argued that there was a lack of staff and corona infections." Upon request, Deutsche Post again referred to staff shortages and corona infections. "Unfortunately, we have to admit that there are problems, especially in mail delivery, in some regions of Baden-Württemberg," said a spokeswoman. In order to avoid longer failures, letters in particularly affected areas would only be delivered every second working day. Extensive recruiting measures for more staff have been initiated.
