Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) - Customs officials have found many indications of undeclared work in fitness studios. In numerous cases, checks in the catchment area of ​​​​the main customs office in Karlsruhe revealed indications of minimum wage violations, the incorrect payment of social security contributions and possible bogus self-employment by employees, as the authority announced on Tuesday. Forces from the financial control of illegal work had inspected 152 fitness studios in the region last week. The catchment area of ​​the Karlsruhe main customs office extends from the district of Freudenstadt via the Neckar-Odenwald district to the Rhine-Palatinate district.
