Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - During the so-called security day, the police in Baden-Württemberg seized almost 5.5 kilograms of drugs and several weapons on Tuesday. Almost 10,000 people were checked, the Interior Ministry said on Wednesday. In addition, there were more than 50 provisional arrests. According to the police, in Rastatt and Lahr, among other places, officials caught men who had to serve a prison sentence.
According to the Ministry of the Interior in Baden-Württemberg, a total of almost 2,000 people were deployed. Bavaria, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland also took part in the cross-border police measures.
