Baden-Württemberg: Shepherd bites a cyclist in the thigh

Römerstein (dpa / lsw) - A shepherd dog broke free while walking on a campsite in Römerstein (Reutlingen district) and pursued a cyclist. The 62-year-old stopped and got off, the animal then bit the woman in the thigh, as a police spokesman said on Saturday. The cyclist suffered minor injuries on Friday and received medical treatment. It was initially unclear how the dog escaped from its 65-year-old owner.
