Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - An 83-year-old driver was seriously injured in an accident with a tram in Stuttgart. The man had to be freed from his car by the fire department, police said on Thursday. The train passengers and the light rail driver were unharmed. The driver collided with the train while turning.
In another accident, an 80-year-old was slightly injured in downtown Stuttgart because she illegally turned left with her car and collided with a light rail vehicle. The damage was given as around 20,000 euros.
