Würzburg (dpa / lby) - A 19-year-old gave himself a chase with the police on Autobahn 3 near Würzburg. Among other things, the man raced through a tunnel at around 190 kilometers per hour, in which a maximum of 100 kilometers per hour were allowed, the police said on Monday. The officials had therefore tried to stop the driver on Friday. The 19-year-old then drove away at high speed, and another driver could only avoid a collision by braking hard.
Ultimately, the police surrounded and stopped the 19-year-old with several strips. The young man showed "drug-typical failure symptoms" during the control. He is now being investigated for an illegal car race.
