Windischeschenbach (dpa / lby) - Unknowns attacked a businessman and his partner in the Upper Palatinate and stole jewelry and money. Several masked people surprised the couple on Monday in front of their residential property in Windischeschenbach (Neustadt district), as the police announced on Tuesday.
The men pushed the two inside, tied them up and forced the businessman to open his safe. He was slightly injured. The masked escaped with jewelry and five-figure cash. According to the police, the couple should have freed themselves from the chains after half an hour.
According to a police spokeswoman, it was initially unclear how many masked men were involved in the robbery. The police are now looking for witnesses.
