Munich (dpa / lby) - When deleting an apartment building in Munich, the body of a man was found. Several people noticed on Sunday that smoke was coming out of the shattered windows in one of the apartments and called the fire brigade, as the emergency services announced on Monday. How the fire started was not known in the morning. It was also unclear whether the 75-year-old died from the smoke. The police are investigating.
The fire brigade therefore started several attempts to extinguish the fire using a turntable ladder and the stairwell. Around 50 firefighters and a large contingent of police were on site. The extinguishing work took about an hour. There was damage of around 500,000 euros.
