Bavaria: Cabaret artist relies on her grandmother's wooden spoon when cooking

Munich (dpa / lby) - Without her grandmother's wooden cooking spoon, almost nothing works in the kitchen of cabaret artist Luise Kinseher ("Mama Bavaria"). "Indispensable if you want a good meal," said the 53-year-old from the "Süddeutsche Zeitung" (Saturday). Her grandmother never baked or cooked according to a recipe. Nevertheless, she managed to create the "finest dishes, the most magnificent cakes and the best dumplings". "It was always a bit like magic for me," Kinseher said. "My grandmother's cooking spoon is the master of my kitchen: if my guests like it, that's only because of him!"
