Kempten (dpa / lby) - climate activists blocked a motorway exit near Kempten for around one and a half hours on Monday. As the police reported, four people between the ages of 19 and 60 sat down at the Leubas exit on Autobahn 7 in the morning rush hour around 8 a.m. Officials said two had stuck their hands on the road. As a result, there was a traffic jam on the highway itself.
Police loosened the adhesive and carried all four demonstrators off the road. They were then taken for inspection. As is usual in such cases, the officials initiated criminal proceedings on suspicion of coercion in road traffic and on suspicion of violations of the right of assembly. The Kripo is now taking over the further investigations.
