Bavaria: driver stopped with 3.2 per mille: child in the back seat

Volkach (dpa / lby) - A drunk couple and a small child were stopped in the back seat of the car by the police in Lower Franconia. An alcohol test for the 41-year-old woman at the wheel showed 3.2 per thousand, the police said on Saturday. The man in the passenger seat was also drunk, as the officers determined the day before when they checked the vehicle.

According to the information, the woman had picked up her husband from work and then bought alcohol supplies at the gas station. The officials were "stunned" because the three-year-old child was sitting in the back seat. The woman had to give up her driver's license and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. The police also informed the youth welfare office.
