Bavaria: injured in a crash on a motocross track

Wiesenttal (dpa / lby) - During a race in Wiesenttal in Upper Franconia (Forchheim district), a 58-year-old employee stepped on a motocross track and collided with a participant. With serious injuries to the head, he and the 26-year-old driver were taken to hospital by helicopter on Saturday, the police reported on Sunday. The exact cause of the collision was initially unclear. A police spokesman explained that there are marshals on the racetrack to prevent possible intrusions.
