Bavaria: Man rescued lifeless from Tegernsee

Rottach-Egern (dpa / lby) - A 78-year-old has been rescued dead from Lake Tegernsee. An emergency doctor was only able to determine death on Monday, the police said on Tuesday. He had previously been swimming with a woman in Tegernsee near Rottach-Egern. The 70-year-old had lost sight of the man and then reported him missing. Rescue workers found the 78-year-old lifeless in the lake. The circumstances were initially unclear. According to initial findings, the police do not assume third-party negligence.
