According to the police, a 45-year-old stopped early on Friday morning because of a breakdown on the right lane - with the reversing lights switched off. Because a car driving behind it drove up almost without braking, the car and the 45-year-old were thrown to the left against the guardrail, where it stopped.
A helicopter flew the seriously injured 45-year-old to a clinic, it was said. The occupants of the car, a 45-year-old and a 41-year-old, were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The A93 was completely closed for three hours.
