Bavaria: Three people seriously injured in a car accident

Pfarrweisach (dpa/lby) - When two cars collided in Lower Franconia, three people were seriously injured. A 62-year-old drove with a passenger on the main road near Pfarrweisach (Hassberge district), as a police spokesman said on Sunday. He disregarded the right of way of the 50-year-old who was driving on the street on Friday afternoon. The cars then collided at high speed. The 50-year-old's car was thrown into the opposite ditch. Both drivers and the 62-year-old passenger were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The highway was closed for around an hour.
