Augsburg (dpa / lby) - Train passengers on the Augsburg-Weilheim route have to be prepared for timetable changes and rail replacement bus services. The reason for this is construction work in the Ammersee-Altmühltal network, the Bavarian Regiobahn announced on Monday. The period between September 8th and 11th, 2022 is affected.
In the evening and at night there are different departure times between Mering and Egling in both directions - both for trains and for rail replacement services with buses. Different departure and arrival times also apply between Augsburg-Oberhausen and Mering and between Egling and Weilheim. The operators in the Ammersee-Altmühltal network had already announced train cancellations on Friday. The reason they gave was the high rate of sick leave among train drivers due to corona.
