Langenbach (dpa / lby) - A truck got stuck at a level crossing between the barriers in Upper Bavaria. A traffic jam had previously formed in Langenbach (Freising district) on Wednesday because of the red light display and the closed barriers, the police said on Thursday. Because there was no train after a while, the 61-year-old truck driver decided to cross the tracks with his vehicle. Due to its length, it got stuck on the barriers.
The police and the railway then blocked the route for train traffic. It turned out that the barrier system had a technical defect. Proceedings for an administrative offense were initiated against the 61-year-old.
