Bavaria: Two children injured when igniting a firecracker

Deggendorf (dpa / lby) - When a firecracker was found, two children were injured in Deggendorf. The two twelve-year-old boys found the firecracker on Monday on the street, the police said on Tuesday. When they lit it on the balcony at home, it exploded in one boy's hand. The latter was seriously injured, the other 12-year-old suffered moderate injuries. Both were taken to a hospital. A five-year-old girl who was present when the fire was set off but was standing further away was unharmed. According to the police, it was not possible to determine what type of firecracker it was.
