Bad Staffelstein (dpa / lby) - A two-year-old girl walked all alone to the train station in Upper Franconia. The little girl ran about a kilometer to the train station in Bad Staffelstein (Lichtenfels district) on Saturday afternoon and fell there, a police spokeswoman said on Monday.
A woman became aware of the child and handed the girl over to a police patrol. Because the child could not communicate, the police drove her to the center of town to ask passers-by for information about the girl's family. The strategy was successful, after a suitable clue to the address, the two-year-old could finally be handed over to her parents unharmed. They had already been looking excitedly for the runaway.
