Munich (dpa / lby) - A driver caused a rear-end collision with five vehicles on Autobahn 92 near Munich because she had missed her exit. According to witnesses, after realizing that she had gone too far, the 45-year-old braked almost to a standstill, the police said on Saturday. Then on Friday she drove from the left lane over two more and over a restricted area. A driver was able to brake and avoid an accident - the four cars driving behind could not. Nonetheless, nobody was injured.
The 45-year-old then continued towards Munich Airport, it was said. After a search, several officers found the fugitive woman in the airport area. She now has to answer for traffic accident escape. The left lane of the A92 was closed in the direction of Deggendorf for almost two hours.
