Climate activism as a series: "A Thin Line" hits a nerve

Global warming is in full swing. Many people are fighting it, sometimes desperately, while politics and business are still stepping on the brakes. The German series "A Thin Line" tries to turn the highly topical climate activism into a gripping drama. With success!

Anna (Saskia Rosendahl) and Benni (Hanna Hilsdorf) are climate and cyber activists. When one of their hacking actions calls the Federal Criminal Police Office into action, the two twin sisters get caught between the authorities and a terrorist group of environmental activists.

The series "A Thin Line" produced by Jakob and Jonas Weydemann ("Systemsprenger") - to be streamed on Paramount - can hardly be more up-to-date in view of our time. Two excellent leading actresses, a great cast and a topic that affects us all make the six-part series a gripping and thought-provoking drama that lingers on long after the credits have rolled.
