Two people were killed and one man injured in a dispute over a rented apartment in Ottweiler, Saarland.
The potential landlords of the apartment, a 79-year-old man and his wife, who is one year younger, drove to a couple in the afternoon who wanted to move. According to the police, they wanted to tell the 51-year-old man and his 59-year-old partner that nothing would come of their application.
The 51-year-old then drew a gun and shot the 78-year-old. In a subsequent argument with the 79-year-old, he pulled the gun again, pulled the trigger and injured him. The 51-year-old then shot himself in his own apartment. The shooter's partner is currently being looked after.
