Diepholz: Eleven-year-old floats motionless in the water: successfully resuscitated

An eleven-year-old boy was successfully resuscitated in an outdoor pool in Bruchhausen-Vilsen (Diepholz district) after a swimming accident. The child had lost consciousness on Sunday and was floating motionless in the water of the non-swimmer pool, police said. The boy's adult brother and a bather rescued him from the pool and successfully resuscitated the boy, it said. He was taken to a hospital. According to the police, the eleven-year-old is now out of danger. According to the police, the boy may have had circulatory problems in the water.
