F1 Miami GP Television: Schedules and where to watch on television

The Mexican Sergio Pérez (Red Bull), brilliant winner last Sunday in Azerbaijan, points to the leadership of the Formula One World Championship this weekend at the Grand Prix in the hot city of Miami (USA).

Checo signed in Baku -relegating his partner, the Dutchman Max Verstappen, to second place- his sixth victory since he raced in Formula 1: the second on that track (after 2021) and the second of the season, after having tax in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).

Even so, Mad Max leads with 93 points, six more than the Mexican driver and with 33 points over Fernando Alonso, third in the World Championship.

After getting on the podium and raising his number of drawers in F1 to 101 in the first three races of the year (Bahrain, Arabia and Australia), his first three with Aston Martin, Alonso finished fourth in Baku.

There are 19 races left until the end of the season, at the end of November and in Abu Dhabi. So Alonso and Aston Martin -and, eager for improvements, Mercedes and Ferrari- will be at the forefront; waiting for more mistakes from the very dominant red bulls.

The circuit is designed around Hard Rock Stadium, where the Miami Dolphins, a team from the NFL, the spectacular professional American football league, play at home.

The track is 5,412 meters long -with 19 curves, twelve of them to the left- resurfaced and abrasive; with three DRS zones; in which very high top speeds will be reached; and in which, marked by the heat, the management of the tires will be decisive.

In Miami, tires from the intermediate range of compounds will be used: the C2 -hard, recognizable by the white stripe-, the C3 -medium, yellow stripe- and the C4 -soft, red-.

The training sessions and the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix race can be seen on television through the DAZN channel and on the Movistar channels of the platform itself.
