It's still just a suspicion. A serious one, however: one of the most cited and therefore most influential scientific works on Alzheimer's disease in the past two decades allegedly contains forged photographs. And it probably doesn't stop there. As the international science magazine "Science" revealed in a detailed article last week, the same suspicion has now fallen on more than 20 publications by the same author.
