"Farmer is looking for a wife": With the fire engine into love happiness

With "Farmer Seeks a Woman" the ride-along offer: tractor, wheelbarrow and fire truck. After getting to know each other and getting to know each other, the farmers and their chosen ladies-in-waiting pack their suitcases and say goodbye to Hofwoche.

The opening barn festival of the 18th "Bauer sucht Frau" season is slowly but surely approaching its climax. The sun has long since set over the rural location. The suckling pig on the grill bar is already crispy and brown. Inka's "O'zapft is!" kick-off was also hours ago. Between liters of barley juice and more than a dozen pretzel shells, the really important decisions of the evening are now made. Who goes with whom to which farm?

After a final tour by Inka Bause, joy and sorrow are, as expected, very close together. While tears of disappointment flow on one side, hearts found on the other make the corks pop. For example, Oberallgäuer Martin was finally able to shake a leg - an absolutely necessary act to make a heart decision: "I have now danced with both women and decided for Carola!" smiles the farmer from the mountains. Loser Beatrice is not "happy", but by no means as disappointed as the two chosen ladies of dairy cow expert Theo. The man from the Eifel was missing something fundamental: "Something has to happen, but nothing happened," sighs the farmer. The pretty Helena from Hungary is "very disappointed". Competitor Yvonne even feels "kidded".

It's emotionally haywire. On the cozy village fair stage, Ella Endlich sings her foxtrot hit "Sternschwimmer". The audience cheers and dances. While the beer kegs are getting emptier, some farmers let you feel what the company could expect during the farm week. Breeding farmer Michael K. from Bergisches Land is so "flashed" by his forthcoming visit to the farm (the farmer has chosen Jan Hendrik) that one has the feeling that the two lovebirds don't really need a week at the farm to be clear about their feelings to become.

Blonde Patrizia is already on cloud nine. Farmer Jörg came up with something very special for the trend-setting pick-up moment. The nurse cow owner, who likes to help out with the volunteer fire brigade in his free time, actually drives up to the station with a fire engine: "How cool is that! But please don't put out the fire now!" Cheers and cackles Queen of Hearts Patrizia.

The Thuringian joker Erik has chosen Julia. After all, she lives only ten kilometers away from the farmer's farm. The route between the train station and the farm is slightly bumpy, but it is mastered with lots of laughter and the lovingly decorated wheelbarrow. What fun! The two tractor nerds Michael and Max have the exact opposite in tow. Instead of using the wheelbarrow, the two farmers drive up with field machines that are just so flamboyant with power and energy. The ladies Christine, Mandy and Anna naturally clapped their hands enthusiastically.

Of course, there is also mischievous teasing and joking. In this regard, farmer Michael has so far been clearly ahead. The cattle farmer from Lower Saxony insists on teasing his two ladies-in-waiting with a special kind of sleeping space. An old garage with two sun loungers? He can't be serious, think Christine and Mandy. After a brief moment of shock, the cheekily giggling farmer breaks up and leads the two guests to their real sleeping places - two specially borrowed five-star caravans: "Wow, someone really thought about that," the two women rave. Let's see which "colleague" will do the same for the likeable Lower Saxony in the near future.
