Genshin Impact 2.0 will be released this month, July 21. Developer miHoYo revealed that the update will include many new features and cross-save support across all platforms.

Genshin Impact has updated 2.0 to enable cross-save across all platforms

Genshin Impact's massive update is now live. It adds the new Inazuma electro-themed region to the already large game. MiHoYo also announced that Genshin Impact would finally be able to save across its different platforms.

Players who have downloaded Genshin Impact via Epic, the miHoYo launcher or mobile will be able, once the 2.0 update drops , to link their PSN and miHoYo accounts by using the same email address. This will allow players the ability to share their progress across platforms, as well as any game data, and also allow them to easily resume their games on another system.

However, there is a catch. Players must use the same email address for linking their miHoYo and PSN accounts. However, this email address cannot be used to play Genshin on either of them. You will need a different email address if you log into Genshin on PC/PS4/PS5 or on the PC prior to 2.0.

This is great news for Genshin Impact gamers. It is a long-awaited feature that will be a huge addition to the already busy schedule. Even before the 2.0 update, there are many new characters including Kazuha and Sayu. Keep watching for more information as we count down to the Genshin Impact 2.0 launch date.
