Offenbach (dpa / lhe) - Due to a misunderstanding between two captains, two ships collided in the Mühlheim lock on Sunday evening. A motor tanker drove into the back of a barge, the police said on Monday.
The rudder system of the barge may have been damaged in the process. Both ships were not allowed to continue sailing for the time being. The water and shipping authority should decide on a release.
